Christopher P. Polson

Chris is a Vice-President with Veracap Corporate Finance Limited and a Senior Manager with Campbell Valuation Partners Limited. Chris has advised numerous owners of privately held companies throughout Canada and beyond on matters dealing with business valuation, acquisitions and financing and has helped many business owners in enhancing and realizing the value of their company in the divestiture process. Early in his career he has been called upon to give expert evidence before the Court of Queen's Bench Alberta.

Chris holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from McMaster University (University Scholarship and Dr. H.L. Hooker Scholarship) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Queen’s School of Business. He is a member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, and the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute.

Chris has written a number of articles on the subjects of business valuation and pricing, and is the co-author of ‘Acquisitions & Divestitures of Private Companies’, a chapter within the recent text Corporate Finance for Canadian Executives (Thomson-Carswell, 2007).
