Rakesh Jain

Rakesh Jain is a principal with a Halifax based firm of chartered accountants. The firm has been providing assurance and business advisory services to owner-managed businesses for over 25 years. He has a particular interest in the design and execution of acquisition, turnaround and growth strategies.
Rakesh holds an Honours Degree in Commerce from the University of Dalhousie. He is currently a regular instructor of professional development courses offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy.
Rakesh is currently serving as Chair of the Finance Committee and Treasurer of The Halifax Grammar School, Treasurer of the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia Society, Vice-Chair of Halifax Chamber of Commerce and the neighborhood representative on the Saint Mary’s University Campus Master Plan Steering Committee and a member of Ashburn Golf Club.
